Literature Text

Fell in love with a flower so small
Its petals bruised but it endured all
Its stem so hard from struggles, the flower hardly cries
Hidden behind a white blossom were nothing but lies

The roots buried deep in my heart
Digging ever so deeper tearing it apart
But oh how that blossom ever so bloom
In my heart it grew, bloody walls its room

Uprooted, torn from the bloody soil
Abandoned, love left to rot and spoil
But oh how you wear that flower, petals stained red
In my heart it grew, my heart crumbling soil now dead

How you wear that flower smiling as you go away
How you leave me never seeing my face in dismay
Beautiful white petals still scattered around my memory
Washing off blood with the tears from my undying misery
